We’re on the hunt! Sleuthing and snooping and tracking down clues to discover our next big crime novel. If you think you’re a perfect suspect we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for crime novels that span all genres from psychological thrillers to sensational whodunnits to captivating cosy crime stories. We’re particularly keen to discover crime novels set in Wales and featuring women protagonists or villains. We like mysteries that keep us guessing, characters we can believe in, and compelling plots with gut-tightening twists.
 

If you reside in Wales or are Welsh-born and are a woman or identify as a woman get in touch.

Please submit the first 50 pages of your manuscript in either pdf or word document with your story title and author name in the heading to: submissions@honno.co.uk together with a single page synopsis. We’d also be grateful if you could include a brief bio that explains your connection to Wales and let us know this is a crime novel submission in your email.

We estimate a timeframe of around 3-4 months for a response. Please do not query before this time. Simultaneous submissions welcome but please inform us if your story is accepted elsewhere.
