Launch of Llon a Lleddf (06/09/2012)

The launch of Llon a Lleddf, a collection of stories by Sara Maria Saunders, at the Welsh Books Council stand at the Bro Morgannwg National Eisteddfod on August 9th was a happy and successful occasion.

Rosanne Reeves, who wrote the introduction and is responsible for the idea of publishing this volume, spoke about the author - known as S.M.S. and her work; Eurwen Booth and Pat Griffiths read extracts from the volume.

The occasion was well-attended, (attendees including the Archdruid elect, Christine James, the first woman to be elected to the post,) and highly visible as the guests spilled out of the tent into the bright sunshine for the cutting of the special cake (diolch Caren's Cakes) served with chilled white wine.

We are grateful to the Welsh Books Council for hosting the occasion.
