Telyn Egryn (1850) (Egryn's Harp) is the first volume in the Honno Welsh Classics series. Elin or Elinor Evans was better known by her poetic name Elen Egryn (b. 1807), which commemorates her home town of Llanegryn in Meirionethshire.

Elen's volume of poetry is an important milestone in the history of women's poetry in Wales as it is one of the first volumes ever printed by a woman in the Welsh language.

Her thematic range is broad and her poems encompass religion, bereavement, friendship, exile and depression. Along with Y Gymraes (The Welsh Woman), a magazine for women launched by Ieuan Gwynedd, Telyn Egryn is part of a concerted effort to project a powerful image of the ideal Welsh woman (pious, respectful and of the highest moral integrity) following the 1847 scandal of the Blue Books. A selection of poems by Elen's contemporaries are also included in this volume.
